Women from diverse backgrounds—educators, entrepreneurs, community leaders, and changemakers—can successfully launch a YEA! Academy. No prior experience in teaching or business ownership is required; comprehensive training and ongoing support are provided.
How much does it cost to start a YEA! Academy?
The initial investment covers program licensing, training, curriculum materials, and support. Costs vary depending on location and scale. Revenue comes from student tuition, sponsorships, and community partnerships, creating strong earning potential.
How long is the program, and when does it run?
Each YEA! Academy runs for one school year, typically 24 to 30 weeks, with students meeting weekly. You can adjust your schedule to fit your community’s needs and your personal availability.
Do I need a physical space to run a YEA! Academy?
The YEA! Academy can be hosted in schools, colleges, universities, incubators, accelerator spaces, or at a Chamber of Commerce. The program is flexible and can adapt to your community’s resources and your lifestyle.
How are students recruited for the Academy?
You will receive guidance on marketing and recruitment strategies, including outreach to schools, parents, and community organizations. YEA! provides templates and support to help you attract motivated students.
What support and training does YEA! National provide?
YEA! offers comprehensive initial training, ongoing coaching and complete materials including curriculum guides, lesson plans, timelines, sample budgets, marketing support, and more—plus access to a national network of Academy leaders. You’ll never be on your own in launching or running your Academy.
How many students can I enroll in an Academy?
