If you’re community-minded and love helping others succeed, you may be the perfect person to bring YEA! to your area. Here’s what it takes to get started:
Be passionate about youth development and entrepreneurship.
Have strong ties to your local community (especially schools, local businesses, chambers of commerce, higher education, community leaders).
Be outgoing, organized, self-motivated, comfortable leading a classroom and coordinating successful entrepreneurs and business leaders as instructors, lining up guest speakers, field trips, securing sponsors, running exciting events and managing media and publicity.
Commit to running at least one Academy session per year
Able to dedicate 20 hours per week to your Young Entrepreneurs Academy
Pay an annual licensing fee and attend required training sessions
No prior teaching experience is required—just a drive to inspire and lead. Sales experience required.
